IFIE is a private, independent and not for profit, research institute. Its mission is to contribute to the improvement of the quality of Mexico’s, private and public education. Through research it guides public opinion and brings elements of judgment to the people who are responsible of making decisions in education.

CHARACTERISTICS

·         Its vision is always strategic and it tries to obtain positive synergies in the changes that it recommends.

·         IFIE is conscious that many countries are doing important efforts in improving their education systems, that is why it incorporates international experiences to the solution of the problems under study.

·         IFIE sponsors educational research through an annual award and organizes international forums in order to present the state of the art theories and methodologies in education.  These are some of our international forums:

IFIE’s long-term goal is to help schools incorporate and practice the principles, methodologies and systems that promote quality, participation and values.
